Pet Policy
Note: Each property owner is allowed to set their pet policy. Though most PMI Mystic properties allow pets, please see the property listing to determine if the home you’re interested in allows pets.
- All pets must be properly licensed, have shots required by statute, and be spayed or neutered. Please be prepared to show documentation.
- Breeds with a disposition for aggressive behavior are prohibited.
- Most properties have restrictions on the number of pets and the size of the pet. Please check with the property listing for specific details.
- Be prepared to provide a picture of your pet and vaccination records.
- A one-time move-in pet fee and a recurring monthly pet fee will be charged for each approved pet. The amounts may vary based on the property owner’s pet policy and the results of the pet screening. Pet fees do not apply to approved assistance animals.
Pet Screening
Pet Screening is a simple and secure tool allowing you to store all the important information about your pet in one place.
Approved PMI Mystic applicants must complete a PetScreening profile before move-in for each household pet or assistance animal. Household pet profiles cost $30 per pet when paid by credit card or $25 per pet when paid by ACH. Assistance-animal and no-pet profiles are free.

Profile information includes photos, vaccinations, microchip, training, behavioral traits, and a special section for service/companion animals.
